Today I met Jill and Rob at the Santa Monica beach to photograph their adorable son James, who just turned 8 months old a few days ago. The last time I saw him was when he was just 1 month for a newborn portrait shoot. It's amazing how quickly they grow!! He still has those piercing blue eyes that I remember :-)

The sand intrigued him - what is this stuff?

A baby's laughter is the most amazing sound.

Jill and Rob were marred at the Hotel Casa Del Mar (which is in the background), so it was great to take these pictures at such a happy and meaningful location.
